Is Covid-19 there or "Ni Propaganda za Serikali"

 So, It happened that On March 2020 , there started this life threatening  pandemic which caused chaos all over the world, Kenya being one of the countries affected by this Corona Virus outbreak was not an exemption.

The Kenya government through the ministry of health put forward rules, regulations and guidelines to be followed in order to slow the spread or prevent individuals from contacting the virus. The obvious happens, and that is, there was this group of people who strictly followed the rules and then this huge number of citizens who merely followed none of the said rules.

Yes! and we call them Covidiots. This being interesting group of individuals,they were seen all over social media ranting that covid is a government project to squander public money. They emphasized that people should continue with their normal life routines. Twitter and all socila media platforms was used widely to spread fake information about covid and hence bringing about confusion to people who aren't well versant with the use of social media.

Surprisingly, some of Covidiots are(because it happens until to day) our top most government officials. Building Bridges Initiative rally is being carried out and huge gatherings which do not observe social distancing or wearing of masks is seen being in one place. This encourages the spread of Covid. They say leaders lead by example but it seems to be the opposite of true in Kenya political arena.
