Don't Be Mean

Probably you've heard of what happened on march 2020. Impulse buying, shops and market places running out goods?

Yess that experience where you go shopping and on return you have nothing?

Yess, that behavior is what we some of us had during the onset of corona.

Hoarding can be a disorser but lets see how it comes about that. Hoarding disorder is a persistent difficulty discarding or parting with possessions because of a perceived need to save them. A person with hoarding disorder experiences distress at the thought of getting rid of the items. Excessive accumulation of items, regardless of actual value, occurs.

Hoarding of food and denying other access is one of the characteristics of a covidiot. This is simply because why have more than enough items and your neighbour lacks. This will make your neighbour suffer which in turn makes you suffer indirectly. You asking how? Here's is how you in turn suffer from denying your neighour access to goods:

Our neighbour live right next to us. Being safe from Corona  is our collective responsibility. If your neignour lacks tissue and you've stocked enough, share. This is because lacking the so called items will lead to use of any available resouce to fulfill that gap and hence putting you who is safe at rist.

Lack of food and other supplement will lead to rebellion. People will defy all the rules put aside by the health organization so that they can go look for food and other essentials needed at home.

It was funny how people in my village were saying and I quote' Hatuwezi kufa njaa na Corona ituuwe pia' meaning we can't die of hunger and Corona, let one kill us.

With this behavior, spread of Corona is initiated because peolle will defy the rules so that they can get access to what they want. Observing curfew and quarantine will be hard and so are the other measures put in place.

This lives me with a saying "SHARING IS CARING"

  1. Hii ni kenya yawa😂 they say success favors a prepared mind. But again, impulse buying during this time was so as to avoid shopping every now and then for social distancing 💪
